Being first-time home builders from the start, we more or less envisaged running with a “standard plan” from one of the many selections, but after having your services recommended to me by a friend and the subsequent few meetings with you that followed we quickly realised how easy it is to actually have a unique home purpose-designed & built to suit our needs for how we live and for our budget. Obvioulsy the design changed dramatically from our very rough initial floorplan through to completion, but the end result truly is a home we’re very proud of. As in most relationships, it’s extremely important to listen and to be honest and that is what we have valued most. From the early changes, to the various scheme plans we had, through to the changes we made in the middle of the actual build, nothing was to much trouble and again you really did listen to what was important to us and made it happen. When Reed delivered the first concept plans for my new house in Taupo, I was blown away.” He had captured what I wanted in one attempt. The house looked fantastic. There was nothing I wanted to change except for some minor floor plan detail. Reed had obviously listened to me very carefully, but more importantly he had understood me and captured the essence and style I wanted, I was impressed. But where the concept plans are important for the look and functionality of the house, it is the working drawings that make or break the work at the coal face.
