"Hi Donna and Peter,

I have been reflecting on how long we have had been working together on projects. It would be around 25 years now and in all that time your incredible service and integrity has been outstanding.

I recall the first major project we worked on with SBL.  You sourced beautiful hand painted Italian made French style fitted cabinets for one of my Queenstown clients.  Remember Peter came down and took the measurements which had to be exact as they were fitted wall to wall? Internally they were made to my clients requirements including concealed filing etc. Peter personally delivered these and worked with a local joiner to install them. That complex project went without a hitch.

Since then, we have engaged you to import many more exquisite items customised and handcrafted by traditional artisans both in natural European timbers sometimes with genuine ormolu work.  I know of no other company who can supply those items. Then there is the fabulous hand engraved Venetian glass cabinetry which again is supplied by a company who still have the craftsmen with the skills to execute the work. My clients are aware that these items will become rare as the craftsmen reach the end of their working life and they consider their investment to be a privilege.

The contemporary furniture on offer is also very unique and of the highest quality. Among the more recent products that SB offers are the gorgeous state of the art Italian lighting.

Working with the amazing team you have is always easy and a pleasure. You display infinite patience Donna, and I have always been made to feel as though my projects are the most important you are working on, a rare quality when obviously you would be at any time working on multiple projects.

Donna and Peter were amazing right from the beginning helping us develop an overall plan in terms of building work and interior design. Peter coordinated all tradespeople and the renovation process with Donna overseeing every detail. She listened to what we wanted to achieve and our preferences. Furniture we already had was incorporated into the new design and some pieces repurposed cleverly by Donna. Furniture selection, paint/ wallpaper, lighting, artwork and soft furnishings were researched and presented to us for choice by Donna. This was such an enjoyable process with Donna’s skilful ability to know what we liked but also introduce some other beautiful aspects not thought of by us, to create an apartment that exceeds all our expectations.
