A must have! We bought the silent rangehood a month ago or so and we are very happy with our choice. I couldn't stand the noise of a regular rangehood! I couldn't hear my own thoughts. And now ... we can't hear the rangehood so my husband jokes that I should start turning it on when cooking. It looks elegant, has very good lights and it is powerful. I can't imagine any better rangehood

We bought and got this Schweigen Silent Island Rangehood installed last month and we absolutely love it. It the best addition to our main kitchen we have done in a long time.

The product is of very high quality - very quiet at maximum speed and the suction power of the motor is just exceptional. There is no smell in the house even with extreme deep frying and continuous cooking. The LED lights are very bright and elegant. Before buying I contacted Schweigen multiple times and they were super helpful. I'm so happy that I'm also replacing my bathroom fans with Schweigen silent exhaust fans. The product might seem expensive but it's absolutely worth it. Do yourself a favour - just buy it once and you won't regret at all!

As someone who is learning to cook, I need two things in my kitchen - ambience and a powerful rangehood. We love how silent our Schweigen is as this means that I can listen to music, watch the TV and not be distracted or overwhelmed by a loud rangehood. Previously when I cooked, I would also set off the smoke alarms (yes, I'm that good). Now thanks to the rangehood's powerful suction, our neighbours don't come running over thinking that our house is burning down. Plus whoever designed the filters to be dishwasher-safe needs a promotion!

This product should be standard practice in all kitchens! We had the 900mm installed over a 600mm hotplate to allow room for the Thermomix to sit under it too. It works super well with both on, No noise, no smells - very efficient!

Loved this from when I first saw it online - and it didn't disappoint when it arrived. Had been looking for a sleek, quiet solution that was also strong enough for Asian style cooking. Its silence has so impressed family and friends that they now all want one in their own kitchen!

Changed our lives. Our previous pull-out had no suction and sounded like a freight train. We installed our Schweigen rangehood last year and it's the best rangehood I've ever used. It's so much quieter and the suction is fantastic.  The filters are also small enough to fit in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Highly recommend :)

The suction is powerful and effective, and I can converse beside it even at its highest setting. Also loving the auto shut-off timer because it's so easy to forget the rangehood is running when it's this quiet.

Each component is of excellent quality - I'm a mechanical engineer and I notice these things. Also measuring about 60 dBa at the stove top, so Schweigen's promise of quality and silent performance is legitimate.
