DESIGN

We here at SVP carry out an analysis to design and build according to your needs and resources, always keeping in mind the aesthetics and technical characteristics, as well as the basic rules of construction.

First we will discuss your project with you to learn about the plot of land, any existing structures, and the our wishes for the future building. Whenever possible, we will carry out an in-person site analysis to give us the most accurate information for all project types.

In the next phase, we begin to translate the client’s wishes into a building design concept. This involves sketches, drawings, 3D renderings, and preliminary site plans, floor plans, and building elevations

Then we produce detailed drawings that specify every detail of the final design. construction set, which we send to the local council authority, for consent.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We have a broad variety of skills, along with the ability to interface with a diverse range of agencies and people in order to lead the project from concept to build.

We first go through a feasibility study or what is often called a business case, in which you look at the goals, cost and timeline to see if you have resources to reach a successful project end within those constraints. We will also want to define the reasoning behind the project and also identify potential issues and risks.

Next we outline the tasks within the timeline, noting project milestones, and the resources needed to do those tasks within the budget allotted. We are transparent in the plan, so everyone is on the same page and understands what needs to be done over the life cycle of the project. That includes detailing the cost, scope, duration, quality and communications used in the project. We are then able to conceptualize the best team for the project and begin the process of assembling them.
