"A good outdoor space is a vital extension of your home. It can be many things; a quiet sanctuary, a kid's soccer field, a mini farm producing fresh herbs and veggies, or a bustling second living and entertaining area. Either way, I love that what I do not only improves the look and size of my client’s property but can also have a real impact on how they live their lives and improve their overall wellbeing."

We are proud members of the Landscape NSW and Act Association and Master Builders Association and we spend our days building our client’s a beautiful life outside.

We offer a complete landscaping solution, from initial consultation and design, through to construction, styling and ongoing maintenance. This means our clients can have the added convenience of dealing with just one contractor for all their project needs.

This ensures the end result is not only unique, beautiful and practical but also delivered with minimal fuss.

You can see our gardens thriving, hear our water features running or smell the food cooking in our outdoor kitchens along the streets of Sydney, Sydney’s north shore, eastern suburbs and inner west.

Stone Lotus Landscapes is a full-service landscape company. We work collaboratively with our clients from initial consultation right through to a completed and furnished outdoor space. We can even provide regular or one-off maintenance services.

Some of our services include, design, plant selection, excavation, tiling, paving, decking, retaining walls, irrigation, vertical gardens, outdoor kitchens, awnings and outdoor covered areas, water features, pools, fencing, planting, turfing, weeding, trimming and general maintenance.

Consultation and site inspection
The first step in the process is the initial consultation and site inspection. Here we get to find out about your ideas, style, desired uses for the space and budget. We will also get to know the site, including dimensions lighting, access, services, and existing structures.

Construction
Once all necessary approvals have been obtained, our construction team will then carry out the construction of the project.  In our experience having one team both design and execute the design results in a seamless and efficient landscape project.

Design
We enjoy working on style ideas and creative solutions to suit your space.  Once we have come up with a concept you are happy with we will complete the design documentation.  Depending on what level of design documentation you have opted for or is required for the project, this can consist of a 2D concept design and mood board, a planting schedule, construction drawings or rendered 3D designs and a video fly-through of the space.

We will look after council development applications and will manage all trades alternatively, we are more than happy to cooperate with any other trades you may have engaged directly.

Maintenance
To keep your outdoor space looking its best, Stone Lotus Landscapes can also be engaged for regular or ad hoc maintenance services as you require. This may include trimming hedges, spraying and removing weeds, fertilizing, mowing lawns and trimming edges, and pressure cleaning hard surfaces.

Garden Design Sydney

A great garden starts with a great design. The design process can identify any limitations and resolve any issues with the site from the outset which can save you both time and money during the construction stage.

Sydney Landscape Designer Services from Stone Lotus

Whether it’s a completely new garden creation, a new pool, or a garden makeover, our landscape designers will work with you to create a garden that is designed to suit the site, your taste, and your lifestyle.

However, every site and client brief is unique. Therefore we will tailor a design package to best suit your particular landscape project whether this entails simple sketches or a 3D concept design with video and construction drawings. No matter the size or nature of the project we enjoy collaborating with our clients to develop their vision. Our innate understanding of design principles combined with our construction experience and use of the latest technologies ensures we can articulate that vision and turn it into a reality.

We recommend you invest in preparing a 3D concept design and construction drawings:

• Where your objective is to create an original and innovative outdoor design
• For any complex projects involving a large amount of hard/structural landscaping works
• Works that require Council approval; or
• Any project where you require some assistance in visualising the end result before proceeding with construction.

In most circumstances, following the initial consultation, we can advise what level of design services are required and are able to provide you with a fixed fee Design Proposal.

Our landscape design services include:

• On-site consultation
• Preparation of a detailed Design Proposal
• Design sketches
• Concept design 2D
• Concept design 3D and video
• Construction drawings
• A palette of suggested plants and materials
• Planting Plan
• Comprehensive construction quotes
• Submission of Development Applications to council

3D Concept Design

A Computer generated 3D perspective view of your design. This can include a video fly-through of the design which assists clients to gain a precise understanding of the depth and scale of the project.

2D Concept Design

Construction Drawings

From the concept design, we will prepare detailed construction drawings in preparation for the construction phase. These construction drawings include all necessary details for the building and will also be required for the development application process with the council.
