Stone NZ is a New Zealand owned and operated company directed by Queenstown and Arrowtown local stonemason Mark Mulholland.

We have many years of experience in all areas of stonework. Our completed projects canvas all areas of stone masonry, and are found predominantly in the Queenstown and Arrowtown areas, but also in the surrounding Central Otago region.

We can cater to any design specifications and can construct any project using not only a variety of locally sourced stone, but also craft it in a range of stone masonry styles.

Our craftsmanship is guaranteed and we provide free quotes and SiteSafe qualified employees.

We use many different types of rock
Some of the types rock we can supply include Gibbston Schist, Glenorchy Riverstone, Paradise Stone, Rocky Creek Schist, Pullburn Schist, Oamaru Stone and Tudor Stone. If you have something specific you would like, we can work with that too.

We use a variety of Stonemason Styles
We are experienced in a range of different styles including, Semi-rendered, Dry Stacked, Historic Arrowtown, Mortar Joint, 10mm Recess, and many more.

We are a member of the New Zealand Stone Masons Association
