Stratus is an IT company specialised in providing quality IT Services to Architects and Engineers exclusively. Our Architectural customers range in size and complexity from 2-person firms to 85-person firms.

Since the foundation of Stratus, the business owners made the decision to focus all our training efforts and to acquire all relevant expertise towards the goal of becoming the only IT company in NZ to exclusively support the IT solutions that drive the business workflows of Architects and Engineers.

For our customers this means that our technical team is best placed to ensure a more efficient troubleshooting approach for Architects and Engineers, especially when it comes to technical CAD/BIM applications and performance issues for design software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD and more!

Many of our customers have come to Stratus following poor experiences with more generalist IT providers who simply could not offer them the specialist focus and expertise required to fully support Architectural firms.

Furthermore, our Managing Director, Des Pudney, has a 35+ year career that has wholly comprised Architecture and IT Support for Architects. He initially trained and worked extensively as an Architectural draughtsman, and subsequently held senior CAD Manager and CIO IT roles spent in supporting Architectural users. Having this quality leadership and expertise in our business means that we are confident of our sound technical approach to designing and supporting your IT.
