New Builds

If you're just starting out on your journey,or you have ideas we can sit down with you and find the right plan and design that suits your family needs lifestyle and caters for you budget  We can help you take this to the next step with building your new home. 

Building your dream house shouldn’t be a nightmare and doing it right costs less than doing it over!  

1) First Initial Contact

We understand that your time is valuable, so we will promptly phone you to book a no-obligation meeting. In addition, we will send you an email with a few valuable questions that help get us on the same page with the vision you have and gives us a background of your project ideas. This also allows us to get a scope of job requirements and if council permits and consents etc are needed.  Ensuring our first meeting runs smoothly, efficiently and covers everything.

2) Consultation process

We will have a meeting with you at your home to further discuss your project and go through the completed questionnaire in more detail. At this stage, we will be able to go through the complete process and let you know if council processes are needed as smaller jobs may not require Council consents or permits. We"ll ask further questions about any of your specific needs and requirements for the entire duration of the project. At this time we look more extensively at the brief and the scope of work required and any other available information that you would like to discuss.

3) Design and concept

From the information gathered at the consultation, we’ll provide a concept design. If needed for your job, our designer will then put your dreams onto paper. Once the concept is finalised, we’ll use to provide you with a cost estimate.

4) Working drawings and specifications

Once the estimate is accepted, we’ll give our designer the go-ahead to turn your concepts into full working drawings and specifications. We can then book your project in and give you an estimated start date.

5) Fixed price quote and contracts

When you confirm that working drawings match your requirements we will provide a fixed quote, building contracts and guarantee documents to be signed. A staged progress payment plan of what to expect and when. We will agree on a start date and prepare for construction on your dream project to commence.

6) Construction begins

Construction will begin soon after the consented plans are received from the council. A start date will be decided. Throughout the construction, process communication is important to ensure everyone is on the same page. Our team will carry out quality checklists throughout your project to ensure our high standards are met. We also offer weekly site meetings to thoroughly update you on your project. These meetings are a great way to see any changes as they happen and watch your dream take shape.

7) Job complete

After the final inspection is complete we’ll leave you with a clean and tidy home.  We will confirm that all the necessary inspections and paperwork have been completed as part of the sign off and provide our workmanship guarantee to ensure you have total peace of mind to go with your new and improved home.  Your project is finished and is all yours to enjoy!

The site manager will be available to communicate with you directly, keeping you well informed of progress and ensuring your project is running smoothly from start to finish.

4) Accurate pricing

We have all heard a horror story about someone spending thousands of dollars on a design only to find out too late that it wasn’t what they wanted and that it had gone way over budget. Rest assured that this will not be part of your experience with T. Wilson Builders. We offer a one-hour complimentary consultation right at the beginning of your home improvement journey. We will listen carefully to your list of must-haves as well as your nice-to-haves to ensure your budget aligns with your scope of work. By setting these parameters with you upfront, we’ll be able to customise a plan to achieve what you want and what that is likely to cost. Depending on your project, this consultation could save you tens of thousands of dollars. We offer it to you free as part of our promise that our work will mean you’ll love coming home.

Once your plans are confirmed, we will cost your job and provide details of exactly what is included. We will communicate with you to ensure we understand your requirements and use our pricing checklist and custom-built software to make sure nothing is missed and there are no nasty surprises.
