Christie Da Silva is the founder and creative director of The Escapist + Co Studio specialising in unique Residential, Commercial & Retail Refurbishment projects. With a multi layered approach to design, she believes in stimulating all the senses with an emphasis on creating a sense of wellbeing for her clients.

Her aesthetic is sophisticated, tailored and refined. Natural materials and attention to detail build the design of the space that she is creating. Her passion for transforming spaces into somewhere they can 'escape' is her vision.

Christie believes that design is all about pushing the boundaries, this is where the magic happens. She understands that everyone's journey is unique and personal and that should be reflected in the work she designs.

When assisting and working on magazines such as Homelife and Better Homes & Gardens and styling for 'Quantum Quartz', the leaders in natural stone solutions, she was able to learn the scope of requirements needed to help her clients create something unique.
