Wayde’s eye for detail and his vision for linking the features of the house with new kitchen was absolutely outstanding. We were so happy with the final result and everyone who has seen the kitchen has been nothing but blown away with the design. Wayde recycled the original stainless steel bench tops which not only saved a significant sum, but also connected the old and the new. Highly recommend.

Wayde did a fantastic job helping us design, plan and build a new kitchen. In particular, dealing with the Covid-19 lockdown and its aftermath. In more detail, Wayde: Spent time discussing the design to understand what was important to us and how to make sure the kitchen met our needs. Helped us find an innovative design that made much better use of the available space, including novel (for us) solutions like draws within draws, and a retractable electronic stack. Helped us navigate through the huge variety of designs and colours to find what worked for us. Develop a number of bespoke features, including metal panel with our own design. Helped us when, just after the kitchen was taken out, the level 4 lockdown started (March/April 2020). In the later stages of the lockdown, Wayge negotiated with contractors so that even during level 3 the work restarted, and we had a kitchen within a couple of weeks.

We were undertaking a massive whole house renovation and reworking our kitchen was a major part of the renovation - we wanted a hub for our home and we wanted it to suit the practical needs of our family. We had loads of ideas about how we wanted the kitchen to look but we really needed a designer to add the practical design elements, provide us with product knowledge and to develop our ideas so it would work both aesthetically and tie in with the rest of our home. We were so relieved to have engaged Wayde from Wayde Beckman Design to design our kitchen. Wayde really listened to what we wanted, he didn't try to talk us out of what was important to us or send us down a different track.
