About

William Rupert Worsp

Founder, father and the creative behind WRW & Co. in 2012 with a desire to engage in a creative endeavour that creates beautiful, simple and well made pieces for the home, office and commercial industries right here in New Zealand. Will’s natural affinity for creativity and a business mindset paved the way for his organic journey into the industry.

Will graduated from Otago Art School then worked in the creative departments on various film sets around New Zealand, before heading off to travel the world by working on super yachts. This was followed by a stint in London where he project managed interior fit-outs for brands such as GAP, H&M and Selfridges, as well as restaurants and accommodation in the United Kingdom.

After honing his skills and gaining invaluable experience by working with interior designers, architects and furniture makers; it gave Will the insight into the needs and opportunities within the manufacturing and design community, which helped carve out WRW & Co’s tangible and unique proposition.

Will works alongside experienced and detail-fanatic furniture makers; Dave Guest (current) and previously Faustin Duprat. Together they are driven by the simple mission of making beautiful pieces for people’s homes with a sustainable and responsible approach, to last a lifetime.
