By Herbst Maxcey Metropolitan Architects
A speculative boutique apartment block on the slopes of Parnell overlooking the harbour and the City. Each of the lower 2 floors is dedicated to a single large apartment per floor with the penthouse apartment being over 2 levels. Each apartment pivots around a weather and privacy controlled loggia, achieved by means of a skin of sliding shutters, which in turn give the facade of the building lightness, variation and articulation.
