We loved the allure of this ultra-modern black & white Collaroy kitchen renovation.

This modern kitchen renovation in Collaroy accentuates how the combination of natural timber and a monochrome colour scheme combine together for an ultra-modern, yet timeless, appeal.

During our initial consultation at the Collaroy home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, our kitchen design team discussed with the client their must-haves. These included a French door fridge, integrated dishwasher, combination oven and induction cooktop. No problem!

To offset the sleek, black kitchen cabinetry, we installed “Pelle Grigio” stone benchtops and splashbacks featuring a beautiful, mottled texture and fine vein on a soft grey background.

During COVID lockdowns and working from the dining room table, the clients quickly realised their home lacked a functional workspace. To solve this problem, we discussed using an under-utilised open space below the stairs to incorporate a new workspace that would compliment the new kitchen. The initial design of the workspace incorporated enclosed storage joinery however, when viewing the design mock-up via our 3D software, it was agreed that the space should remain open. The result was spectacular and the workspace is a stylish extension of the kitchen yet does not deflect from the warmth of the living and dining area.

And finally, we laid new, engineered American Oak timber flooring throughout the home creating a sense of warmth and casual style.

The finished result was a stunning, modern kitchen with a seamless, open plan flow and abundant light. There is little doubt it will become a central feature of the property whilst adding significant value and function.
