THE PROCESS

Untouched for 20 years, the project involved a complete renovation of the Birchgrove home bathroom. The brief was to bring character and charm back into this beautiful sunlit space and to create a sense of synergy with the rest of the home. To soften the bulkhead that houses the hallway staircase above the bath, we created an archway, finished with antique reclaimed tiles to bring some warmth and history back into the space. The walls were finished in a hand rendered Venetian plaster for an organic textured look, coupled with custom made cabinetry, detailed marble bench tops and splash back to complete the overall design.
