Contemporary residence on the Christchurch Port Hills, completed in 2022, featuring an elongated form that captures stunning city to sea views while integrating design elements that echo the surrounding rock formations.
Balancing design opportunities and challenges were the main drivers for this prime site atop the Christchurch Port Hills. The elongated form capturing expansive city to sea views and carvings into the monolithic block, reminiscent of surrounding rock formations, creating much required pockets of shelter.
