A kitchen in Melbourne’s bayside suburb of Bentleigh is bought to life with bright and colourful Popham Design encaustic tiles in a custom colourway.
This project is a great example of encaustic cement tiles being used in a splash back. The biggest issue was choosing which pattern and colours to use within the vast options in the Popham Design catalogue.
The clients selected the pattern ‘Propeller’ and then chose the 4 colours that make up the pattern in this design. The tile was then handmade by the team in Morocco and shipped to Australia, a process that takes about 20 weeks. While they had to wait patiently for their custom order to arrive, the end result is a unique tile made just for you.
