Stone Lab. Kaitiakitanga - We show respect for our taiao and minimise environmental impact.
As a Qualified Stone and Tile Technician, Stone Lab have the experience and knowledge, and we provide solutions and restorations for your Natural and Engineered stone surfaces.
We have a passion for Natural Stone and enjoy working with each piece. Natural stone is alive, and when treated with care, it will reveal its personality and beauty. Our skill set allows us to restore the natural stone to its former glory. We are dedicated to caring for your stone investment.
We provide anti-graffiti protection for stone porous substrates, without changing the natural look of the substrate and retains water vapor permeability (breathability). We have the full range of protection for Natural Stone and Terrazzo flooring, including penetrating and topical treatments to give longevity and provide easy maintenance.
We provide the full range of cleaning and sealing of exterior natural stone cladding. With the use of our water based Hydro-repellant treatments, we can treat concrete tilt slabs two weeks after pour. The most common sedimentary cladding such as Sandstone, Tuff and Limestone require correct treatment to stop salt damage, mould growth and moisture damage. Basalt and Granite requires a very robust treatment formula to withstand heat and sun exposure. They also require treatments that do not alter its natural look.
