Community-driven multi-million dollar playground at Takapuna Beach, designed in collaboration with local stakeholders and transformed into reality by Sentinel Planning over two years.
Jackie and Chris Reeve approached Sentinel Planning to assist with a legacy project, the creation of a multi-million dollar playground in Takapuna funded by the local community. Our Managing Director Simon O'Connor worked with the Reeve family, the Local Board, and playground designer Philippa Bolland of Future Landscapes to transform this concept into reality over two years. We led the project team to gain consent on a pro bono basis. This enabled the vision of the million-dollar playground to become a reality. It is a project we are particularly proud of and utilised by thousands of children and their families.
