City Apartment Kitchen

The existing kitchen design here was dark and dated. We opened up the space, and used a warm, sophisticated material palette. The client likes to cook and entertain, so the kitchen design reflects this.

Power and water are located at the end of the island bench, so we removed the existing wall that blocked the view to the waterfront, and added a slim beam detail that becomes a ceiling feature.

Push to open cabinetry, and electronic opening cupboards allow easy access and a clean contemporary style.

Paired with great modern furniture and soft furnishings, this is a wonderful place to spend time staring out at the Wellington harbour.
