Overcoming the complexities of a steep Parnell site with close proximity to neighbours, this significant rear extension doubles the size of the home. Dedicated adult and children’s zones were added to make it both more practical and enjoyable for a growing family.

A lofty, double-height living area and adjoining open plan kitchen/dining space are positioned to focus on leafy views. These areas truly maximise the beauty of the site. With a new master suite, guest bedroom, laundry, and powder room, the house was renovated throughout with a hard-working plan where no space is wasted. Every surface has been touched as we have carefully redesigned spaces with interior fittings and furniture that tie it all together, from striking contemporary light fittings and marble fireplaces to the elegant library cabinetry, right down to the custom-designed library ladder.
