This project was close to my heart, because it was my own home...

This renovation and extension to a derelict Californian Bungalow, was designed to have a welcoming and friendly vibe that blended the old and new together. Finishes were deliberately selected to be timeless, as well as family and pet friendly. Whilst being a beautiful and spacious home, it withstood the rough and tumble that everyday family life brings. Finishes such as polished concrete, stainless steel and quality carpets made cleaning up a breeze.

The furniture was a selection of old and new. 1950s armchairs seamlessly combined with a new linen sofa from ArthurG. New built in and stand alone joinery (such as the entertainment unit) were specifically designed for the spaces.

Colour plays and important role in my life, so my home was never going to be all white or beige! Blues, greens, tan and timber have been added to a base of white, black and grey.

We have now moved on to another 'renovators delight', so stay tuned for another transformation!
