“Since 2013, Mark has assisted us with removing the existing canopy of pine trees and revegetating coastal species on a steep cliff face Waiheke Island. This has required working with and co-ordinating arborists, ecologists to prepare the site, manage it for weeds and replant with appropriate native coastal species. The site has been transformed from a barren and hostile environment to a vigorous and healthy beautiful early bush area on the higher ground and an ongoing retaining and revegetation program on the steeper and lower areas close to the sea. We had seen the great work Mark has done on Rakino and his input and vast experience is now showing real rewards for us . Coastal erosion and weed eradication is only part of our challenge. Lack of any good soil .Intense heat on an over sheltered site , dangerous access and a wide range of noxious weeds and predators to boot. Mark is very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He is a specialist in this work and we are looking forward to continuing working with him as we progress on with our project”
