Contemporary Kitchen & Bathroom Renovation

The bathroom underwent a comprehensive upgrade, including the installation of tiled walls, flooring, and a new wet area shower. Although the bathroom retained its original size, it has been transformed into a contemporary and modern space.
Before the renovation, the bathroom featured a shower over the bathtub, which consumed a significant portion of the space and created a cramped feel. Now, with a change in layout and an addition of a walk-in shower, a new vanity, and a toilet, the room appears more spacious, despite no increase in the floor area. Additionally, new framing and flooring were constructed behind the scenes.
In the kitchen, a complete fit-out was installed, and new flooring was added to achieve a polished appearance.
Furthermore, in the lounge area, an old brick chimney was removed, and a load bearing post was removed and a new load bearing beam installed to expand the open-plan kitchen/dining and lounge space.
While modern renovations were underway, the homeowners aimed to preserve the home's characteristic features, such as the coving. To keep the character, new coving was installed in the kitchen and matching coving installed in the lounge area after removing the chimney.
