This project was a new build home so Sticks + Stones Design were involved in the design process from the planning stages. The client was looking for a home with classic contemporary style with a touch of industrial. It was also important that we added character so that it didn't feel bland like many new builds can feel.
The colours and shape of the house are very contemporary blending natural timbers with dark contrasting joinery and paint finishes. Being a part of this project from theplanning stages allowed us to create a cohesive concept and style for the home and allowed the interior and exterior to complement each other

Professional
Sticks + Stones Design is founded by Katie Scott. She is a qualified Architectural Designer based from Northland and the Bay Of Plenty.
Sticks + Stones have won a number of awards for our Kitchen and Bathroom designs but are passionate about being involved in projects from the early stages thus enabling us to create a fluid design and concept.
We have had a lot of experience in renovations and enjoy seeing the transformation that happens as part of this process. Sticks + Stones have worked on both residential and commercial projects and are experienced in both areas.
They design around the wants and needs of the clients and what is fitting to the project, be it a renovation or a new build.
Sticks + Stones enjoy the challenge of finding a balance between contemporary, luxury, and classic. This balance is finely tuned to the client's brief.
