700m2 fit-out for the new offices of Debtworks NZ Ltd.

Q Interiors completed this 700m2 fit-out for the new offices of Debtworks NZ Ltd. We worked in conjunction with Q Commercial Construction who were delivering the base build concurrently and our early engagement and co-operation with Q Construction ensured Debtworks had occupation by Christmas.

The challenge

A number of the services trades were part of the base build contract and the building was still under construction throughout the fit-out period. A high level of coordination was required between the respective clients and contracts; each with their own critical paths and timeframes.

The details

Structural steelwork had to be installed for the huge 11 metre sliding glass doors to the boardroom and all mechanical ductwork is exposed in the open-plan areas.

The fit-out features a number of high-level finishes including veneer wall panels, Woven Image acoustic wall panels, Asona feature ceilings, Ambitec plaster, fabric wrapped pinboards, Heritage floor tiles, and various coloured Irvine’s carpet tiles.

The project was successfully completed on time, on budget, and with minimal defects.
