Conceived as two distinct pavilions it's zigzagging folded-plate rooftops echo the surrounding mountain landscape. Nestled into native bush hovering among the trees and between rocks with water flowing around it. The design makes a confident architectural statement that is informed by nature. The clients wish was to create a house where the family and friends could gather and enjoy each others company in a location where they had been holidaying for many years. The results speak volumes of soaring beautifully crafted sun-filled spaces. Stone concrete and timber all play a hand in the finished look. Masses of glass bring the outdoors in and create a seamless connection between refined interior relaxation and exquisite alfresco options. Built with the precision of a fine piece of furniture, this remarkable three bedroom, three bathroom retreat will provide enjoyment for years to come.
