Double-Halo House
Forever home, Earlwood, Sydney
Double-Halo House is perched high up on an escarpment overlooking Sydney. The location meant it didn’t just require a design that took advantage of the views, the team at Studio Snell determined early on that it also needed to provide shelter from windy weather and to look as good from the inside as it did for those viewing it from afar.
A home for a family on the site that they have lived on for 15 years. We used a Double-Halo device to house fittings for shading and cooling the home.
