JFC delivered comprehensive enhancements to Quay Street, the Lower Albert Bus Interchange, Galway Street, and Te Wānanga (Downtown Public Space). The works support the long-term growth of Auckland's waterfront and pedestrian network over the next 10 years. Spanning more than 20,000 m² of reclaimed land, the project was executed within a complex, densely built urban environment, bordered by the central business district, heritage buildings, the waterfront, and other major construction activities, requiring careful planning and precise delivery.

JFC delivered:

• Site clearance and bulk cut to subgrade level.
• Upgrading of existing power, water, and communications infrastructure, including relocation, installation of new services, and future-proofing.
• Stormwater system upgrades within a challenging marine environment, requiring careful management of tidal influences, contamination, marine sediment, dewatering, and associated temporary works.
• Construction of raingardens and tree pits to support urban greening and water-filtering.
• Installation of finished surfaces including concrete and paved footpaths, carriageways, and cycleways.
• Installation of new street lighting and traffic signals.
• Salvaging and transplanting of nine specimen Pohutukawa trees.
• Installation of street furniture and soft landscaping, including the planting of 136 large trees, among them 15 mature 1000L Nikau palms.
