Duo Eatery

We’re so excited to see this project come to life. This is a special one for us, featuring one of the very first installs in New Zealand using the new Autex textured Mirage panels in Lapis Opera. The subtle texture brings a striking layer of sophistication while delivering exceptional acoustic performance. Installed at Duo Café in Birkenhead, The intention was to enhance the space without interrupting its character. Bringing acoustic performance and design together in a way that feels completely natural to the environment. The result is a seamless balance of function and form. The panels not only elevate the visual depth of the space, but also significantly improve acoustic comfort, reducing reverberation and creating a more relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere for both customers and staff. A great example of how thoughtful acoustic design can quietly transform the way a space feels, without compromising on aesthetics.
