SOM Blinds came about in 2002 and has become an industry leader in Melbourne manufacturing and supplying automated blinds and window furnishings.

Our unique SOM60 Motorised Blind System was developed by founder Bernie Sombekke and an electrician friend who was an early supplier of home automation.

He was looking for a window furnishing supplier who would not just supply products but was willing to provide his clients with great service with the knowledge and ability to back this up with expert technical support as well.

At SOM Blinds we have always had a huge focus on providing a level of service that keeps our clients recommending us and it works.

We source the very best window furnishing products from suppliers in Australia and internationally to compliment our blind range.

We don’t offer a limited range as we want to make sure we supply the very best solution for your home or project. The same with fabrics we don’t limit the supplier’s whose ranges you can select from. We have access to all of the fabric wholesalers so we will help you find the perfect fabric for your home or project.
