Farmhouse Okuku: A stunning Queenslander-style home featuring historic New Zealand Villa detailing, high ceilings for natural light, and a practical flat for extended family, embodying a timeless design that has inspired multiple builds.
Introducing Farmhouse Okuku, a stunning Queenslander style home that has captured the hearts of many. This iconic design, inspired by historic New Zealand Villa detailing, showcases carefully crafted clay pipe chimneys and a revolutionary veranda that hangs through the brick veneer. The high ceilings create a sense of spaciousness and flood the interior with natural light, making it the perfect blend of tradition and modern living.
Not only is this home aesthetically pleasing, but it also offers practicality with a flat at the other end of the garage, ideal for accommodating an older parent or child. Its popularity is evident in the fact that it has been replicated three times, with two builds by us and a third by someone who couldn't resist copying our plans from the local council files. Farmhouse Okuku truly embodies the essence of a timeless and well-loved design.
