Located in a seaside town called Flinders on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, this property’s facade comprises finishes that are both beautiful and built to last.

The cladding on the property’s east features a beautifully textured, ebony finish. It’s essentially a charred black timer finish, reminiscent of Shou Sugi Ban, a centuries-old Japanese technique that preserved timber by torching it with fire.

⁠⁠Burakku Erumu delivers a contemporary, almost charred feel. Its dark timber colour with interlocking grains derived from the European Elm timber species is timeless and bold.
