This unique wall installation called ‘From the Top’ was created out of a desire to bring nature, sustainability and art together. It is an eye-catching art piece in the foyer of the Bradleys Building - an office building in the heart of Queenstown occupied by some of the leading companies in town. 

The Westwood Group got in contact with us and had a desired design in mind. They used a third party carpenter to create the black and wooden panels to create this beautiful puzzle of art. The moss that is used for this installation is Reindeer moss in a grass green shade.

The clients’ desire was to bring nature indoors - to create a sense of calm and connectedness upon entering the building when you're starting your day or heading on a meeting. Supporting local artists was an important factor in their choice of a contractor. Our unique product got into their attention as a natural solution for this type of installation - long lasting, beautiful and no-maintenance which is a key factor for sustainable solutions. 

We visited the site and discussed desires and budget after which we provided several designs that would suit their wishes. It had to be aesthetically pleasing, represent the beauty of Queenstown's nature and have an eco-friendly tendency. This was our first commercial project really showcasing the various ways preserved moss can be utilized to create unique, eye-catching wall murals to suit any budget requirements, incorporating other natural materials to enrich the artistic values of the piece.  

Bringing the beauty of nature indoors creates a calming environment for customers and employees. It is a head turner and conversation starter due to its unique features. There is no cost with regards to upkeep as the product is entirely maintenance free.
