Introducing Gilpin Street, a project by Walters Macri that epitomizes epic proportions and a striking industrial aesthetic. Located within the walls of a converted early 1900s shoe factory, this boutique warehouse conversion boasts double-height ceilings that create a dramatic sense of space. The two-storey residence is flooded with natural light thanks to original warehouse windows, skylights, and exposed wooden trusses, paying homage to its industrial past.
With multiple living areas, a mezzanine library, and direct access to a common courtyard with a solar-heated saltwater pool, it's the ultimate environment for entertaining. The modern loft-style interior features a stainless-steel bridge connecting upper level wings, an internal winter garden for relaxation, and ducted air for year-round comfort. Despite its industrial exterior, inside Gilpin Street is a contemporary oasis, complete with internal access to a lock-up garage.
