Designed in collaboration with Kāinga Ora, 24 well designed apartments in a three-storey walk-up format sets a benchmark for medium-density social housing, demonstrating how thoughtful design can create inclusive, high quality living environments.
Creating a strong street presence, Glenview Apartments consist of both two and three bedroom units meeting the needs of modern social housing while maintaining the character of the surrounding low-density suburb. Not only does it offer warm well-ventilated and light filled spaces, this project maximises sunlight and city views arranged around a landscaped courtyard and car court enhancing both community interaction and privacy. This layout fosters a sense of ownership, with small clusters of apartments sharing open stairwells, encouraging connection between units.
