The project for Wall Fabrics Ltd was their new warehouse & office designed by award winning Architects, FearonHay. Rucon were invited as an ECI contractor early in the project and assisted with the structural design and planning of the building. On the existing site, a tired warehouse and dilapidated office were demolished carefully to retain the main structural elements for re-use.

The office was then constructed with a new Speedfloor intermediate floor system over the existing structural frame. Portal frames and new cladding systems were then fitted.

The level of finish expected from the Architect and client meant that we were dealing with tolerance levels not usually encountered in commercial constructions projects, so for this one we put the A-team on it, our best guys with the highest levels of skill.

The end result speaks for itself, a delighted client and the building was awarded the NZIA award for best commercial project – a true testament to the finishes we can achieve.
