Mid-century inspiration meets subtropical living through seamless indoor-outdoor architectural design.
Haus Grange is a contemporary family home that reinterprets mid-century design principles for modern subtropical living.
Built on a narrow Brisbane site, the home creates a remarkable sense of openness through generous glazing, flowing layouts, and a strong connection to landscaped gardens.
Natural materials, including Australian riverstone, American oak, Brazilian quartzite, and marble, establish a warm, cohesive palette that shapes both atmosphere and movement.
A striking floating staircase acts as the home's architectural centrepiece, visually linking spaces across both levels.
Designed and built by Happy Haus, the project demonstrates how thoughtful materiality and integrated design can enhance everyday living.
