Commissioned by Archi Build for their portfolio, this half-day shoot in Hawea captures the refined craftsmanship and thoughtful detailing that defines their work. The home blends a simple, gable-roof form with a clean, contemporary palette - natural timber cladding paired with deep, charcoal-toned steel creates a striking yet understated exterior presence. Inside, the space opens to a warm, light-filled interior. Ply ceilings and walls create a seamless flow, balanced by the crisp lines of the black kitchen and joinery. A feature stone fireplace anchors the living area, while full-height glazing connects the home to its rural surrounds. Every room has been considered for both function and form, from the compact yet elegant bathroom to the layered lighting and understated fittings.

“Thank you so much for being accommodating to all of our thoughts and for doing it in such a fast time frame. The whole experience was made to feel stress-free and we are extremely happy with the final product. I hope we have the chance to work with you both in the future, thanks again.”
