Queenstown Home by Jack McKinney Architecture is a sculptural retreat known as Big Bend - a name that reflects the home’s gentle curve and connection to its alpine site. Positioned overlooking Queenstown, the house is defined by textured concrete, rich timbers, and framed views over Lake Wakatipu.
The interior is calm and deliberate, where raw materials and soft finishes meet with quiet elegance. Sliding glass walls open to expansive mountain and lake vistas, while a spiral stairwell and circular skylight bring a sense of movement and light deep into the plan.
It’s a home of quiet gestures and bold form - anchored in place, yet open to the landscape.
