The restoration of a heritage home is a delicate process, and it requires the skills of many professionals to make it a success. At Greenmount Interiors, we recently worked on a project in Mt Eden, where we did a joinery fitout that transformed the home.

One of the key areas of focus was the kitchen, which was designed with both form and function in mind. The Hettich Avantech drawers were an excellent choice, providing smooth and reliable operation, and the modern shaker doors in a Resene Half Wan White finish complemented the overall aesthetic of the kitchen. The addition of brass feature handles added a touch of elegance and sophistication, and the Caesarstone cloudburst benchtop provided a durable and stylish surface for food preparation.

In the scullery, the use of Prime Melamine Original Oak facings to the upper units added a touch of warmth and texture, while still maintaining a cohesive look with the kitchen.

The laundry was designed with the same colour pallet as the kitchen and featured push-to-open cupboards above and large pull-out hampers for added functionality.

Over the hall into the dark and moody study, this was a unique space that made use of Prime Soft Matt Black HPL desktop, providing a long-wearing surface for work and study. The open shelving in Melteca Black Birch Ply above, provides a stylish display area for books and ornaments.

The main bathroom and master ensuite vanity units are simple and elegant, providing plenty of storage and tied in seamlessly with the stunning tiling and reeded glass showers.

The walk-in master wardrobe is big and spacious, with lots of storage up to ceiling height. The use of drawers, adjustable shelving and rails is a great use of space, and the outcome was amazing.
