Central to that architectural response is the use of Eco Outdoor's Daly Stone Face Bricks, applied across precast concrete panels to create a façade that feels substantial without overwhelming the surrounding streetscape. Crafted from a blend of limestone and travertine, the elongated stone bricks introduce texture, tonal variation and a finely scaled rhythm that references neighbouring weatherboard and brick homes while giving the building a calm, monolithic presence.
Rather than acting as a decorative finish, the material becomes part of the building's architectural language. Vertical concave bays and carefully splayed window reveals create a façade that filters light, softens views and introduces depth across the street elevation.

"We were looking to create a façade as a carved, solid form, something that felt substantial within the streetscape," says Hamish Monk.
"The Eco Outdoor Daly Stone Bricks allowed us to achieve that sense of weight and depth, while introducing a fine texture and subtle tonal variation across the elevation."
The specification also addressed practical considerations. Using a stone face brick system on precast concrete panels reduced on-site construction complexity while delivering the durability and low-maintenance qualities expected of a coastal multi-residential building.
As one of Eco Outdoor's first significant multi-residential applications of Daly Stone Face Bricks, the project demonstrates how natural stone is increasingly being specified beyond standalone homes, supporting more complex urban developments where design expression, construction efficiency and long-term performance must work together.
