The client requested assistance with making the audio clearer and have consistent coverage in their main board room. The existing setup was a few conference microphones scattered around on the table. This proved unreliable and didn’t cover the entire 30 seats.
After careful consideration and design the install consisted of 3 beam forming microphones that replaced 2 standard ceiling tiles and 1 microphone under the screens, similar to a sound bar but a microphone.
The microphones installed branded ‘Clear One’ performed as expected. Each of these microphones have built in digital processing enabling acoustic echo cancellation, noise cancellation, and beam selection. This means if the presenter walks around the room no dropouts or changes in sound quality. Regardless of a single person or 30 people the result was clear and understood.
