Ilam Fire Station

Hired by the Cook Brothers, KSI worked with the main contractor on this build for Fire and Emergency New Zealand. Ilam Fire Station construction began in 2019 and is the first fire station and training facility combined in New Zealand. Next to Canterbury University, it is a welcome addition to both the campus and Ilam communities.
KSI engaged in full project management for the installation of the windows and doors, as well as supplied and installed the cladding. E100 and E200 by NuWall were chosen for strength and durability when combined with Trespa Meteon HPL Panel. Terreal terracotta tiles were imported from Asia.
