A striking home from the street purpose built for a couple at the point of retirement. This home required a massive excavation and retaining walls to create the living terraces. The clay like substrate on this hill is called loess (windblown dust) which causes many a builder on this hill problems in wet weather with soil retention.
The home has a massive central living area that encompasses views over the city to the alps and is an unadulterated sun trap.
A solar project this home runs on nothing from an energy perspective.
