As an upscale restaurant, Kyubi required a lighting solution to match the refined food offering. Through a concept that almost entirely utilises concealed lighting sources, a scene of background softness and forefront focus allows the performance of serving beautiful food to play out in front of the patrons.
The completely internal, windowless space meant that lighting design was imperative to the success of the design. Rendering is sought through carefully crafted pools of light and shadow for intimate moody zones. High CRI LEDS bring out the rich material pallet of timbers, fabrics and metal. Concealed lighting paints layers of glowing haze across horizontal plains, elongating the sense of space within, guiding the focus of the viewer through an incredibly detailed interior.
