Lonely Seats

Website

Dunedin

The Jade building underwent a major revamp with new tenants in 2015 the developers employed us to design and construct a seat which reflected the area and climate.

The seats are constructed in a robust poured concrete finish and softened with a timber batten seat, this was to provide a warmer finish to sit on than the hard concrete. These battens are seminally tied down with large rope to reflect the industry and shipping in the immediate area. Due to the harsh climate the seats are rarely used.
