Orientated North-South on a sloping site to take in the endless view, two sliding doors open from one corner and the large deck creates a versatile and open space to transition between inside and out during hot summers.
Winters are cold in Alexandra, and keeping winter outside is achieved with airtightness with the Modbox panel construction, continuous insulation and a balanced pressure ventilation system which recovers outgoing waste heat while providing fresh air for the whole house.
Modbox’s ‘Aspect 5’ design meets all the demands of the client, taking advantage of the site and was a fast and efficient build due to the Modbox Modular Home system which includes pro clima SOLITEX EXTASANA® Wall Weather Resistive Barrier.
