Mainfreight Extension
Brief: We were given the opportunity this year to supply high performance doors in a high wind area. The doors 6.0h x 6.0mw needed to operate in the demanding high cycle environment of a busy logistics facility while also needing to handle wind speeds of around 120 kph. The doors were specially engineered to be strong enough to handle the wind loads but agile enough to handle hundreds of movements a day, the solution – Carbon Fibre wind bars over the conventional steel design.
Results: A large door light enough to offer high cycle capability with the strength to withstand high 120kph winds.
