Major renovations to this apartment offered the chance to remove several walls, opening up this kitchen to spectacular views of the city.
This was my modern take on Art Deco to keep in style of the exterior. The lowered ceiling outlines the original kitchen space, while the addition of veined marble, black cabinetry and polished chrome harks back to an earlier era. Coloured LED lights around the front of the island and the toekicks add atmosphere, rounded out by the Deco-themed chairs, which were custom-made to suit.
The wall unit and fire surround were designed to blend perfectly with the kitchen.
