Mission Bay Residence
Glideaway Supplied and installed a custom side sliding garage door for this beautiful home in Mission Bay for a private client.
The Door solution was to provide one complete door look across an 8.0-meter wide door opening with the sliding door split to roll around the sidewalls of the garage to give the garage maximum height and width.
Splitting the door meaning they could have vehicle access on one side and boat access on the Otherside without having to open the complete opening.
The Design of the door panels is a .60mm Coloursteel roll-formed panels running the Glideaway Side Sliding Door hardware system and operated with automatic openers making the operation easy and convenient.
Why our client decided on the sliding door system is due to the lack of opening height, they wanted to ensure they could get as much height as possible for their boat and vehicles.
A typical sectional or roller door meant they would lose more height than they would like.
